Since creators of Fort Myers Art Walk, Claudia Goode, Andy Howl, Terry Tincher, David Acevedo, Xavier Brignoni, Jamie Kuser and Jim Griffith (among others) redirected paths of art lovers to the beautiful Fort Myers downtown, the River District become a “must-stop” for all art enthusiasts of SWFL. With no shortage of variety of fantastic venues, Arts for Acts Gallery stands out as probably the most eclectic one. Curator Claudia Goode opens her gallery doors to numbers of local artists, giving them opportunity, to showcase their work in a solo exhibit at one of the 3 gallery rooms.

In February, “White Gallery” room will host an innovative exhibit of a local artist: Yvonne Krystman. Her mixed media show titled “Trapped” explores attempts on catching/trapping life moments- glimpses of life and preserving them, without judging them using standard measures of importance. A collection of 2 and 3 dimensional pieces will be on display from February 1 to February 28, 2017. Arts for Act is located in the river district at 2265 First St, Fort Myers, FL 33901.

Yvonne Krystman, native of Poland, currently lives and creates in Cape Coral.  Her artwork has been shown at variety of international shows, across the USA, including prestigious Aqua Art Miami, Orlando Museum of Art and Reese Museum, to name a few. Locally her artwork is displayed at Daas Co-op Gallery, Arts for Acts Gallery and Franklin Shops.

“Trapped” by Yvonne Krystman opening reception will be February 5, 2017 during Fort Myers Art Walk. Art Walk takes place the first Friday of every month from 6 p.m.- 10 p.m.
